How to uninstall PowerPoint (and other Office apps)
Normally, to uninstall Office components, you can either use Control Panel, Add/Remove programs or you can insert the Office CD and choose the option to uninstall when Setup starts.
If that doesn't work:
- If you have Office 2010, ignore the rest of this page. Go here instead
- If you have Office 2007, ignore the rest of this page. Go here instead.
- If you have Office 97-2003, read on.
Download the Windows Installer cleanup utility for Office 97 through 2003
Install the cleanup utility.
After the install finishes, run it by choosing Start, Windows Install Cleanup
You'll see a window that lists the various MS programs currently installed on your computer. Choose the one you want to install then click "Remove"
When the uninstall finishes, the program you chose will no longer be listed in the installer cleanup window.
